TITLE: I wanted to present a course on Langston Hughes because he is one of the poets that is accepted by the mainstream social institutions, while the poems can be good tools when we read the poetry a little deeper. I always remember the smile of Langston Hughes and sweetness of his poetry. I also remember that Hughes’ poetry talked about communities exploding and the beauty of the various shades of black people. These thoughts combined to become The Smiling Bite of Langston Hughes. The subtitle is The power Of Poetry.
