Surveying/Geomatics is a very interesting & prerequisite course for a civil engineer. This course forms the basis for understanding the various methods involved in surveying. Concepts & surveying methods are explained from basic chain surveying, compass surveying, levelling, trigonometric levelling, contours, curve setting, tacheometry, theodolite, total station, to advanced GIS/GPS/RS along with a good number of numericals solved wherever required. Numericals will really make students to understand the concepts very well. This course will help students who are preparing for university exams, various competitive exams as well as graduates.
